Welcome to Ava's Narwhal ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms. Please read them — the most important one is first.
Ava's Narwhal offers calming tools (including the Anchor flow, breathing and grounding exercises, journaling, games, and an AI companion called Nori) intended for general wellness and self-reflection. Patterns and insights shown in the app — including anything you export for a doctor — are informational only and may be incomplete or inaccurate.
Nori's chat replies are generated by artificial intelligence. They can be wrong, incomplete, or a poor fit for your situation. Never rely on them for medical, legal, or safety decisions.
Nori+ is an optional auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple App Store account. Free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends; manage or cancel anytime in your device Settings. Prices are shown in the app before purchase. Crisis tools remain free regardless of subscription status.
You agree not to misuse the app — including attempting to reverse-engineer it, disrupt its services, or use it to generate content that is unlawful or harms others. The app is intended for users aged 13 and up.
What you write in the app belongs to you. It is stored on your device (see the Privacy Policy for what is transmitted when you chat with Nori).
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update the app and these terms; continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date above.
